Trust & Safety

๐Ÿ”’

Private by default

Household records stay behind authenticated access unless you intentionally enable a sharing feature.

โณ

Temporary sharing

Sitter, health-report, and vet links can expire and can be revoked.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ

Role-based household access

Owners can coordinate with family, caregivers, and sitters without sharing account passwords.

๐Ÿ“ฆ

Data controls

Pawprint includes export tooling and support channels for privacy, access, or deletion questions.

Security practices

Pawprint uses authenticated sessions, CSRF protection, safer upload handling, login throttling, audit events, and administrative diagnostics. Security is an ongoing process rather than a one-time feature.

Public profiles

Public Pet ID, Lost Mode, and Public Story serve different purposes and have separate controls. Review the visible fields before sharing any public URL or QR code.

Health and care information

Owner-maintained health information may be useful for organization and sharing, but important medical decisions should be confirmed with a veterinarian.
