Privacy
Privacy is part of the product design.
Pawprint stores information people choose to add about their pets and household. Private app information is intended for authenticated household access unless an owner deliberately enables a public or temporary sharing feature.
Information you provide
This may include account information, pet profiles, health and care records, uploaded documents and images, memories, household members, veterinarian contacts, support messages, and settings.
Public and temporary sharing
Pet ID, Lost Mode, Public Story, sitter passes, health-report shares, and vet-share links have separate visibility controls. Owners should review what is enabled before sharing a URL or QR code. Temporary links may expire or be revoked.
Health information
Pawprint helps owners organize pet information. It does not replace veterinary care and does not independently verify owner-entered medical information.
Account security
Pawprint uses authenticated sessions, access controls, CSRF protections, and operational logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Users can manage sharing settings, notification preferences, household access, and available data-export options. Contact support for account or data deletion requests.
Support and operational data
Support tickets may retain the messages needed to resolve a request. Security and audit records may retain limited operational details such as event timestamps and one-way identifiers used for abuse prevention.
